Hello,
I'm owning an Eloquencer and I would like to add an EME to manage a part of my midi setup.
I would like to send a clock from Ableton to my Eloquencer and at the same be able to connect my midi Keyboard and my midi controller (midi fighter) to the EME.
The midi fighter should be connected via the USB port of the EME.
The keyboard via the midi In of the EME but what can I do for the clock?
I would rather not use an output of my sound card to send the clock through the CV clock out plug-in from Ableton.
Is there any way to merge the clock signal and the keyboard's midi informations together and connect them to the EME midi In ?
Regards
Hi @guestantoine !
I don't know if there is an eurorack module that can do this. I would use a MIDI merger. I suppose something like this would work:
Ok! This is what I was wondering.
The merged midi signal (clock+keyboard informations) from the midi merger should be understandable for the EME right?
thx
@guestantoine Yes ! the merger just takes MIDI messages from all inputs and convert it into one single MIDI stream.
