Hello @wintermodular! I am having a REALLY hard time midi syncing properly my Digitone with my Eloquencer through EME. Digitone is my master and i use as a slave my Eloquencer through EME.
The thing is that it bugs all the time! When i run the Digitone usually Eloquencer starts running too but then when i try to live record notes from Digitone through midi towards my eurorack Eloquencer, it either totally stops running or fires random steps on to the Eloquencer Tracks. In the Midi Set up i am using Midi Ch.1 > Track A and Midi Ch.2 > Track B, all the other Tracks use none midi set up. So i am basically trying to control 2 tracks mith my Digitone and manual program all the other tracks on to my Eloquencer. I am sure it is a bug because the error is not consistent and the overal behaviour is really erratic. Eloquencer either stops or it fires random steps and it partially erases my Eloquencer programmed steps. At first i thought that it was a matter of not using the Tempo setting to MIDI CLK IN but i tried turning it on and it still produces the same results. Please Help... >>>
Hi @toned
I'm not sure if it could be a bug. Is Digitone sending other MIDI messages? like for example CCs ? There are ways to control the Eloquencer via CC that can create situations like the one you describe, for example clearing or changing things.
Is there a way to de-activate the out-going CC MIDI messages in the master ?
Hello @wintermodular thanks for getting back ! I got it, when i deactivate the CC values everything works normally. Do you know how can i control the Eloquencer through Midi CC values from the Digitone? Is there a chart somewhere maybe ?
@toned Yes! you can find a list of ways to control the Eloquencer via MIDI in the EME manual.

In the link below I explain some examples to do so:

Great! Thanks @wintermodular!
Do i need to connect via USB only or i can connect also via 5 Pin Din in order to control CC values ?
