Song mode returns to A1 automatically

I am new to Eloquencer and may have overlooked something but it seems to me that in Song mode with the loop off, the sequencer plays the first step of the first pattern on the first Part when the song ends. Is there a way to prevent that? Other than making an empty pattern (well almost empty, because there has to be a step somewhere so that it can be added to the Part) and adding that to the beginning of the first Part. It's a very clumsy workaround and basically makes one track unusable.
