I have been using one layer of my DJTechTools MIDIFighter Twister to set the gates and pitch directly connected to the usb.

I want to use the other layers to control the disting ex and Ableton live.
I have connected the twister to my iConnectMIDI4+
nnectivity.com/products/midi/iconnectmidi4plus
and can have that send out din to the eloquencer din in and control works as connected direct, but no feedback on the twister from the eloquencer.

eloquencer din out only sends track output, not controller feedback midi.

eloquencer USB <> twister, works
iConnectMIDI4+ > eloquencer din in, works one way

I bought a cable to try USB A male to A male, and neither eloquencer/iConnectMIDI4+ see each other
but they can both see the twister connected when independently to each other.
also tried an A to B USB cable
I'm aiming / looking for a way to get feedback on the twister from eloquencer, when connected to the iConnectMIDI4+ ?

HI @rickdawson

Type A <->Type A won't work for sure. Type A connection is typical for USB host side, so if both devices have this connection this could probably imply that both are hosts. So when you connect the EME (USB A) with the MIDI Fighter (USB B), you are connecting a host with a device.

I don't have the iConnect (or something similar) to test but looking at the connections it seems that it has Type A and Type B connections.
I assume you connect it with your computer using a A/B cable (Type A in your computer side and type B in the iConnect side). Have you tried to connect the EME and the iConnect via A/B cable, (A in EME, B in iConnect) and the iConnect and the MIDI FIghter using A/B cable (A in iConnect , B in MIDI Fighter) ?

Thinking, as these are class compliant, and no drivers needed one of them could be the go between?
